How often do we feel put upon by others? How many times do we say yes to something when we really want to say no? How often do we really stand up for our rights either as individuals or as a group?
Assertiveness training can give us the confidence and positive self esteem to get our needs met and feel good about our selves, without being aggressive.
How assertive we are, normally depends on how we feel about ourselves. So the better we feel, the higher our self esteem, the easier it is to be assertive.
